Visit Marlborough’s three extraordinary Awatere Valley and coastal gardens – each an NZ Gardens Trust ‘Garden of National Significance’ – personally escorted by the inimitable duo of Bridget Elworthy and Henrietta Courtauld of The Land Gardeners. Bridget and Henrietta will meet and interact with guests throughout the day, chatting and sharing knowledge and tips, and taking part in informal Q+A sessions with guests and garden owners at each destination.

See the stunning native plantings at coastal garden Paripuma, meet the owners and enjoy a gourmet morning tea, with a glass of specially-released Rapaura Springs bubbles. Your next stop takes in the dramatic Pacific views at hill-top garden Winterhome. At both gardens The Land Gardeners will be on hand to discuss everything from world- class garden design to composting and soil health.

A three-course lunch is served at an iconic coastal destination, featuring the kai moana for which the Kaikōura coast is famous, gathered locally and prepared specially for you, accompanied by Rapaura Springs wines.

The tour concludes with a visit to the incomparable and romantic Barewood, with afternoon tea among the wisteria and rambling roses.
