Join us for this unique and inspiring film, screened for the first time in New Zealand exclusively at Rapaura Springs Garden Marlborough. Wildside tells the story of an extraordinary garden in the west of England, in the county of Devon on the edge of Dartmoor. The garden at Wildside was created gradually over the last 19 years by Keith Wiley, partly in collaboration with his wife Ros, an accomplished artist, before she died in 2019. Wildside is one of the most innovative gardens in Britain, a ground-breaking coming together of an artistic vision with an acute understanding of the ecology of garden plants. Keith Wiley is a masterful plantsman who has a very deep understanding of plant communities and how to combine plants that share the same requirements, based on his extensive travels around the world.

Wildside’s producers commissioned filmmaker John Campbell of Room of Light to work with them to shoot the story of the garden’s evolution, revealing its special nature. Premiered in April in the UK, we’re delighted to be able to share it with you. www.wileyatwildside.com
